Cardiovascular Collective

The Cardiovascular Collective is a collaborative research network united by a shared mission: to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through rigorous, collaborative science. Founded by investigators from Virginia Commonwealth University, Indiana University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, we study the heart, blood vessels, kidneys, and the nervous system that governs them — work that spans the bench to the bedside. We welcome collaborators who share our mission.

Our members share resources and expertise across institutions, pursue joint grants and multi-site studies, and mentor the next generation of physiologists through cross-lab trainee exchange. Collaborating across institutions gives us access to a wider range of skills, resources, and perspectives than we’d have working alone. It also allows us to design more rigorous studies and train students more broadly than any single lab could.
